Coal is responsible for 40% of fossil fuel carbon emissions, making it a major driver of global warming.
FUELS
Climate crisis
Our planet is on the brink of a climate crisis, with temperatures rapidly approaching the critical 1.5°C threshold. Immediate action is essential to prevent catastrophic climate impacts.
CHANGE
Coal dependency
Despite the urgent need for cleaner energy, coal reserves continue to be exploited to power large fossil fuel power stations, perpetuating the cycle of emissions.
Time-sensitive action
We have a limited window to shift the paradigm and significantly reduce carbon emissions through coal abatement strategies.
STRATEGY
Our approach
We strategically purchase coal reserves to keep it in the ground for 100 years, preventing the extraction and burning of coal, which is a major source of CO2 emissions.
We invest in nature based solutions and renewable energy projects to delivery an energy transition. 20% of our Carbon Credits will be donated towards social impact programs focused on climate smart agriculture, food security, education and health programs.
